SW Squid

Squid make up a significant portion of a striped bass's diet. Make no mistake, this is a large fly intended for bigger striped bass. It's tied with a variety of different feathers, ostrich, and bucktail. Most importantly this squid is tied with a skark wire extension hense the SW Squid. The shark wire is used to add weight towards the rear of the fly, to make the squid sink and swim more evenly. The SW squid is roughly 9 inches long and tied on a 7/0 eagle claw hook. 
 
All salt flies are tied on premium eagle claw hooks.
